📌 I've always wanted to record a Live Album, and my guys here trusted me to deliver something special alongside them. Everyone featured brought the highest version of their artistry. This album was recorded in one afternoon at the famous World Emcee rooftop here in The Bronx. I'm extremely proud of this project. Infinite gratitude to everyone involved.

CHKN + BEER - GUEST MIX SERIES
I had the honor of being featured by CHKN + BEER, the incredible Orlando-based DJ collective & creative house, in their Guest Mix Series. For this one, I made sure to span almost 10 genres: Jersey Club, House, Baile Funk, New Orleans Bounce, Afrobeat, Amapiano, Hip Hop & Jazz. I saw this as an opportunity to feature some new/unreleased sounds from my upcoming Chop Champion EP as well. More on that soon.

For this set, I started in the 75 BPM range and ended in the 120's. This was extra fun to prepare for. I genuinely love each and every song here, and I hope you feel the love I put into blending these together for your ears.

The changes I've gone through since welcoming my beautiful son into this world in January of this year have impacted me on a level I truly can't put into words. Everything I do is to honor him & my partner; my new & growing family. I operate from a place of joy when I step behind the boards, and music will always be my main medium of expression. As I've begun to settle into parenthood more, I've been feeling the need to share these new sounds that have helped me transition through the biggest moments of my life. I made my return to Rise Radio to do just that. This mix is dedicated to my family, and I hope it inspires you to get up and wiggle through every era of your own life.
I appreciate Rise Radio for inviting me to bless their space with these tunes. In my humble opinion, I think I have one of the most dynamic combinations of sound selection & blending skills in the city.
